This beautiful mid-century style American walnut table and bench seat was a commission from a client in Sydney.

The brief was for a stylish piece that would serve as a family table whilst making clever use of the compact space. The client wanted an American walnut table due to the warm tones and stability of the timber.

After discussing the commission, we settled on the mid-century Danish styling and the addition of a matching bench seat. Hence the lines are clean and modern looking. It should also be noted that the bench seat has been designed so that it can be tucked in under the table when not in use, therefore saving precious space.

The walnut table and bench have been branded in one corner with our traditional bee logo. Finally, both table and bench have been finished with our favourite, non toxic, organic oil. As a result the finish is fairly hard wearing, but can also be re-applied easily if necessary.
