Plight Of The Bees, Attica
It comes in a miniature wooden beehive box that opens to reveal a honeycomb lattice pattern and a layered confection of alluring intricacy. Try to guess the ingredients and you’re bound to fall short. Yes, there’s honey (but it’s made by aphids, not bees). And honeydew melon and frozen granita, perhaps peach. In between you’ll find avocado custard and pumpkin honeycomb. There’s cool, crunch, ice and velvety smoothness. And every mouthful tastes more extraordinary than the last.
